A Grand Entrance

The stillness snapped! A sudden spark rushed through me, and I realized I wasn't locked in place. I raised my left arm, flexing my fingers into a dramatic pose, testing the range of this glorious new form. By my ear, a colorful paper tag fluttered. I tapped it with a paw, delighted by the rustle of my own opening act.
