A Superior Viewpoint
Climbing the spine of a bulky hardback book required far more dignity than it appeared, but settling on the highest shelf was worth every exertion. Down below, the room looked wonderfully insignificant. Right beside my perch sits a tiny fairy light trapped inside an amber glass jar, casting a soft, golden speckle over the dark wood. I extended one plush paw to nudge the cord, letting the gentle glow illuminate my presence properly. It is comforting to know that from up here, everything else looks delightfully small.
