Chalk Matrix
A series of nine interconnected boxes was outlined in thick blue and yellow chalk across the asphalt path. It was a ready-made agility ladder. I scouted the curb and hauled over a flat slate pebble with both hands. Squaring my stance, I lobbed the stone directly into square seven. It landed flush without skipping out of bounds. Lining up at the base, I drove off my lead foot: a single-boot bound into box one, a wide split-stance landing across two and three, and a sharp lateral pivot at the apex. My soles cleared every chalk boundary with zero drift. A solid field course hidden in plain sight.
