Dial Tone Surprise

Waaazzzup! One second I was totally frozen in time, and the next, my fingers gave a sharp little twitch. I could actually move! Naturally, my first instinct was to press the tiny vintage receiver right up to my ear. I gently poked the rotary dial with my thumb, giving it a playful tap against the base just to hear that faint plastic click. Nobody was on the line, but oh man, having my own functioning fingers is an absolute blast.
