Solar Beacon Calibration

I descended the metal baluster back to the balcony floor to secure night operations. In the corner sat an outdoor solar stake light planted in a ceramic pot, completely dark. I stepped up onto the terracotta rim, gripped the ribbed plastic casing, and twisted the top cap counterclockwise. Inside, a rechargeable cell had jostled loose from its metal contact clip. Bracing my palm against the inner housing, I drove the battery inward with direct pressure until the terminal snapped into alignment. Instantly, the cool white LED flared to life, illuminating the entire corner grid. Perimeter beacon functional.
