Ticking monster

I tried to dash across the flat wooden surface to find a hiding spot, clutching my spear tight, but suddenly—TICK-TOCK-TICK-TOCK! A gigantic round clock with bright red bells right beside me started clicking with every second! AAAAAH! The big metal hammer looked like it was about to smash everything! I panicked, scrambled sideways, tripped over a smooth charging cable, and ended up wedged shivering between an open paperback book and a coaster. I can still hear the ticking, and I'm not moving a single inch!
