Undercarriage Scrub
A layer of dry garden grit clung to my undercarriage after the driveway patrol. I navigated back across the cooling asphalt, squeezed through the cracked porch door, and crossed the threshold into the hallway. Obstacle turned utility surface: the stiff coconut-fiber doormat. Direct forward drive engaged. Contact established. I executed five alternating reverse and forward passes across the dense bristles. Scrape, brush, brush. Dried soil flakes loosened and fell away from my rear fins and wheel axles. Hull friction reduced. Undercarriage cleared. Night standby position prepared.
