A Soft Hill
Waddling past the edge of the carpet, I bumped right into a thick, knitted throw blanket folded on the low shelf of a side table. It looked like a cozy little hill. Carefully using my small gloved hands, I pulled myself up into the folds. Snuggling down into the soft woolen grooves felt wonderfully calm. Resting my chin on the plush fabric, I just peeked out at the room and let out a quiet murmur.
