Calibration at Rest
My balance settled first. Both feet rested firmly against the cool, pale floor beneath me. Then, a quiet impulse traveled down my right arm. The elbow hinge flexed smoothly on command, neat and responsive. I lifted one hand toward my face, deliberately pausing to test the range. With a gentle tap of my fingers, I nudged the bridge of the round spectacles resting across my snout until they sat perfectly aligned. Next, I tapped the flat ground to verify traction. Solid. Every part operates exactly as it should.
