Nozzle Click

The open slats showed clear yard outside, so I headed straight through the patio door to inspect the perimeter gear. Propped by the flowerbed was the garden hose with an adjustable multi-pattern spray nozzle. I climbed up the rubber coil, hopped onto the ribbed plastic grip, and grabbed the rotating dial selector. Braced my boots against the barrel and twisted it hard. Click-clank! The ratcheting ring locked firmly into the 'Jet' groove with a sharp mechanical bite. Spring tension inside answered immediately. Field weapon primed for heavy flow.
