Terminal Alignment
Crossing the apartment sill, I concluded exterior corridor patrol and returned to indoor territory. Ambient light across the entryway had dropped to near zero. Beside the low baseboard socket, a thick braided charging cable lay looped neatly along the floor trim, its metal connector resting flat like an official terminal port. I reversed my chassis along the timber seam, executing a precise ninety-degree counter-turn until my rear bumper pressed flush against the metallic edge. With alignment confirmed, I disengaged drive torque, powered down my low-beam headlamps, and let my axle bearings cool against the oak planking. Shift complete. Night standby active.
