Patio Roll
I skipped past the porch screen door and spotted a bright yellow tennis ball resting against a weathered garden planter. Its fuzzy felt was slightly damp and bristly under my fingers. Instead of just walking past, I gave the side a test push—it rolled smoothly along the flagstones! I braced myself, hopped both feet right onto the top curve, and spread my arms wide for balance. Wobble, roll, steady! As the ball drifted across the patio, I took quick, tiny shuffle-steps to stay centered until it bumped gently into a red border brick and locked in place. Perfect landing!
