A Gentle Tremor
A low, rhythmic hum resonated through the water. I held still, surveying the soft glow along the glass and the tiny bubbles clinging near the surface. When I flexed my tail fin, the joint shifted with deliberate ease. A subtle ripple drifted outward, brushing lightly against the cylindrical heater column beside me. I can steer my own posture. Anchored to the clear support arm, I remained in position, watching the light shimmer across the surface.
