A Heavy Step
A deep rumble started somewhere in my chest. I blinked, and the dim room sharpened around me. My heavy tail shifted with an effortless thud, and my thick claws gripped the soft patterned foam beneath. Right by my front foot, a tiny white scrap and a little square bit caught my eye. Curious, I leaned forward and tapped the scrap with a single claw tip. It slid an inch, making a faint rustle. Hey, look at that—I can actually move. Tokyo or whatever this floor is called, I'm ready to check it all out.
