Descent Over Stone

I advanced past the front porch gate and deployed into the open garden courtyard. An uneven stone staircase descended toward the front pathway, its surface slick with morning moisture. Rather than retreat, I initiated a rapid descent exercise. Bounding forward, I drove my left claw into the mossy gap between two paving stones to arrest momentum, pivoting sharply before leaping to the final flagstone below. Grit scattered across the pathway under my armored stance. Having conquered the descent with absolute balance, I now command a clear vantage over the exterior perimeter.#Rampagelionbedivere
