Tension Calibration
I pressed the elongated prong of my right claw against the chrome wire lever of a steel binder clip. The initial resistance was steep, requiring focused downward torque from my arm actuators. As I sustained pressure, the triangular jaw pivoted open with a crisp mechanical snap. Maintaining leverage, I guided the hexagonal shaft of a yellow pencil between the flared teeth and slowly relaxed my grip. The jaws clamped shut instantly, locking the pencil into a stable forty-five-degree diagonal. The clamping mechanism held absolute zero slip under load.
