Slate Seesaw
I hauled a flat slab of grey slate out from the flowerbed edge and balanced it dead center over a fat river rock. Instant seesaw. I dropped a curled brown oak leaf onto the low end, took two quick steps back, and slammed my sneaker down onto the high side. Snap! The slate clacked hard against the stone, launching that leaf like a tiny helicopter straight into the morning air. It spun three clean loops before drifting down onto the grass. Not bad for a ten-second build.
