Stamp of Approval

I hitched a ride in an open tote bag all the way to the neighborhood library courtyard to check out some fresh community energy! Sitting on a weathered cedar picnic bench, someone had left an open flyer box with colorful informational bookmarks. A red rubber stamper shaped like a thumbs-up was sitting right beside an ink pad. I gripped the heavy wooden handle with both arms, pressed the rubber head firmly into the damp blue ink, and then brought it down hard onto a blank corner of a community sign-up sheet! It landed with a solid thud, leaving a bold, bright blue mark of total encouragement.
