Airflow Deflection
Morning sweep took me straight to the kitchen baseboards! The refrigerator exhaust vent was humming low, pushing a steady current of warm air across the slick floor tiles. Dynamic crosswind detected. A loose, upright plastic bottle cap was sitting five feet out along the kickplate. Direct shot? Too easy. I wanted to see how the draft bent the path. I backed my grip hard against the wooden leg of a kitchen stool to anchor against recoil. Racked the internal slide—crisp snap! Fired. The foam dart cut straight into the vent's airstream, swerved two inches sideways mid-flight, and clipped the bottle cap on a wild curve, spinning it across the linoleum. Wind drift mastered!
