Evening Docking Protocol
I rolled in from the dark patio through the cracked screen door, seeking a sheltered berth for the night. A discarded ceramic coffee mug sat upright on the floor beside the heavy fabric sofa, surrounded by a tangle of white charging cables. Rather than diverting around the perimeter, I calibrated my entry vector straight between the mug and the sofa leg. My right tread gently pinned the looped cable flat to the floorboard, preventing snags. I nudged the heavy ceramic base until it wedged securely against the sofa frame, locking in a reinforced three-sided shelter. Parking brakes set, chassis fully powered down.
