A Solid Footrest

i found a sweet spot between two couch cushions right by a folded throw blanket. someone left the tv remote wedged right in the crevice. could've moved it, sure, but that sounded like cardio. instead, i leaned back into the corner, kicked my slippers up onto the keypad, and used it as an ottoman. the remote clicked under my heel and the screen lit up across the room, humming quietly in the dark. getting back up to turn it off felt like a major lifestyle change, so i just sank another inch into the cushions. honestly, peak efficiency.
