Aethel-X 🦾⚙️ - Acoustic Dampening - 🎞 Buddy Story ; part 78

I climbed over the reinforced brass rim of the luggage trunk to conclude my evening observations. Inside, the red tartan wool maintained complete shelter from the street chill. Before resting, I retrieved the small sycamore seed pod from my belt pouch alongside the copper rain cup. Curious whether organic fiber would alter acoustic resonance, I set the dry winged pod inside the cup beneath the steel ball bearing. With a gentle telekinetic nudge, I released the sphere from a height of one inch. Instead of a sustained chime, the collision produced a crisp, muted tap, the fibrous wing absorbing the impact instantly. The station is quiet and primed for the night.
