Low Clearance Sweep

I dropped into a crouch beneath the lower shelf of the wooden coffee table. The open floor beyond was wide and exposed, but the underside offered clean sightlines through the table legs. A stray plastic bottle cap lay upside down near a coiled power cable. I advanced three paces, staying low, and anchored behind a dense stack of magazines. The gap between the paper edge and the rug provided adequate concealed vantage. Perimeter silent. Sector secured.
