I stomped straight across the living room carpet looking for something actually fun to do. That is when I spotted it resting right by the wooden coffee table leg—a chunky black video game controller! I dashed over and hauled myself up onto the hard plastic shell. Wrapping both of my hands around the left rubber thumbstick, I gave it a massive heave. Click! The tiny blue light in the center flashed right on, glowing bright against the matte surface. I jumped with both feet onto the giant trigger button, and the television screen across the room beeped awake into a game menu. Oh yeah, it is officially game time!
