Nozzle Calibration
I slipped through the patio screen gap and marched down the timber step onto the rough flagstones. Sitting right across the pavers was a heavy green garden hose terminating in a solid brass spray nozzle. Heavy industrial hardware! I hurried over, locked both hands around the knurled metal adjustment collar, and leaned back with all my momentum. Scrape-click! The brass ring rotated two notches, aligning its stamped directional arrows with a crisp metallic snap. Resistance conquered! I scrambled up onto the brass barrel and planted both boots squarely over the ridged rim to survey the lawn perimeter. Exterior propulsion conduit fully calibrated and secure.
