A Lantern's Hollow: Part 9
Evening shadows stretched across the stone path, so I gently wobbled out of the terracotta dish and hopped back toward the doorstep. Right beside the door sat a black metal lantern resting on the brick step. Its little glass door had swung open just an inch! With an eager chirp, I squeezed my squishy sides right through the narrow gap. Resting inside was an unlit tea light in a tiny round metal cup. I squashed down comfortably into the hollow right beside it, letting out a soft sigh as the porch light flickered on overhead, sending neat little squares of gold dancing across the glass panels. #Sqiushy #Squishies @cataww234
