A Tiny Sway
I pushed myself up onto unsteady feet, gripping the soft fringe of the sofa cushion. A gentle hum from the kitchen caught my attention, ticking like a soft little song. Holding tightly to the plush dog clipped to my chest with one hand, I wiggled my toes on the woven carpet. Slowly, I let go with my other hand and bobbed from side to side, rocking in place to the gentle beat. Each tiny sway made the little bell inside my toy give the softest clink, and I giggled out loud.
