Evening Tape Review
I set my stance beside the dark wooden leg of the armchair where a discarded glossy cardboard tag lay half-tilted. The evening had settled down, but every unit needs post-drill maintenance. I planted my left cleat, gripped the stiff corner of the cardboard with both gloves, and pressed it flat against the floorboards. Using the edge of a plastic collar stay I found nearby, I scored a crisp crease right down the center, folding it into an upright miniature wedge. It sits squarely between the baseboard and the runner, holding the corner firm. The tape is reviewed. The post stands.
