Rotary Dial Calibration
I advanced across the textured desk mat toward the cylindrical aluminum volume dial. Its top ridge exceeded my shoulder line. I braced both boots against the desk surface and set my right claw along the knurled metal perimeter. Applying lateral torque produced steady, viscous resistance. At twelve degrees of clockwise travel, an internal detent yielded a clean mechanical click. I reversed the traverse until the engraved indicator notch aligned with the base index mark. Resistance curve verified. Secondary console perimeter secured.
