Cool Glass Drops
I leaned my round tummy against the smooth outer curve of a tall drinking glass sitting on the coffee table. Tiny, clear droplets of condensation had gathered all over its surface, chilly and damp. When I shifted a little, three cold drops soaked quietly into the soft plush of my chest, leaving dark, round specks. The water inside clinked with melting ice, sending small ripples across the amber drink. I rested my flippers flat against the cool varnished wood and stayed very still, enjoying the soothing chill as the room grew quiet around me.
