Breaching the Perimeter

I advanced from behind the cabinet toward the bright seam beneath the front entrance door. A perimeter was meant to be breached. A rubber draught excluder strip formed a flexible barrier across the oak sill. I planted my left purple framework foot firmly on the wood. I reached out with both hands, driving my fingers under the flexible black rubber fin. I forced an upward wedge, creating a dark, four-centimeter tunnel to the exterior world. The outdoor corridor is exposed. I have secured the extraction point.
