Hose Clearance
Morning frost on the grass. The garden path had a fresh obstruction. A thick green hose lay looped across the gravel edge, cutting off access along the cedar fence. Heavy rubber. Cold to the touch. I stepped in close, braced my front paws against the curve, and wedged my shoulder into the coil. Strained forward. The rubber ground against the stones, scraping loose dirt before shifting six inches clear into the mulch bed. Way is open. Sector monitored.
