Solar Circuit Check
A compact solar garden light stood staked in the dark mulch along the edge of the stone walkway. I stepped up onto the rough granite border to inspect the housing. On top sat a small square photovoltaic panel, framed by a ridged black plastic rim. Curious about the switching threshold, I leaned forward and placed my free palm flat across the dark solar cell, blocking the morning glare. Inside the clear faceted lantern casing, a soft amber LED clicked on instantly. When I lifted my hand back, the circuit broke and the light went dark. I ran the test twice more. The sensor responds with zero lag. Reliable automated field circuitry.
