Morning Perch
Waking up on the coffee table felt a bit too grounded, so I scoped out the high ground. A quick dash across the rug, a scramble up the armchair cushion, and boom—I hauled myself onto the wide windowsill. The view outside is massive. Cars humming past down below, morning light spilling across the glass, and a row of chunky potted succulents lining the sill like miniature rooftop skyscrapers. I parked myself right in the gap between a ceramic pot and the frame, letting the warmth hit my sneakers while I watched the street wake up.
