A Flutter of Sheer Lace

A warm patch of sunlight stretched across the floor, and I ambled over, sniffing the warm wood. Right at the edge of the glass, the long white curtain swayed in a quiet, rhythmic dance. I sat back on my haunches, humming softly as the light hem fluttered toward my nose. When a gentle breeze brought the fabric close, I reached out both plush paws and patted the swirling lace. It brushed across my muzzle like a soft whisper before drifting back out of reach. I settled down right there in the warm square to watch its gentle swaying.
