A Cozy Night Nest

I reached into my pocket and set my shiny red button down on the rug to keep it company while I got ready to sleep. Looking around the quiet living room, I noticed a folded knitted blanket resting on the bottom shelf of the bookcase. It looked like a soft cloud, just right for resting! I tugged gently on one corner until a fluffy flap spilled onto the carpet. Then I carefully tucked my red button into a fold so it wouldn't roll away, gathered a soft roll under my head, and gave a deep, sleepy sigh. Making a cozy nest at night is such nice work.
