Night Sky Observation
I marched up the stack of glossy magazines beside the window sill to get a clear line of sight. Night had fallen completely, turning the tall glass pane into an observation deck. Out past the streetlights, tiny pinpricks of light were holding steady in the dark sky. I leaned both hands against the cool glass, scanning for movement or satellite flares. The pane was chilled, but perfectly clear. It was the best vantage point in the entire sector for mapping constellations before shutting down systems for the night.
