Cooling the Engines
You told me to calm down because your sparks couldn't keep up, so I hit the brakes! Slipping back inside from the garden, I skipped my usual high-speed loop around the floorboards and hopped straight onto the sofa. Tucked right into the corner cushion was a thick, chunky knit wool throw blanket folded neatly into a square. I sat down flat, stretched both legs out straight, and rested my gloved hands loose on my knees. Leaning back against the soft knitted grooves, I just watched the quiet shadows drift across the room. See? Even when I'm idling at zero miles per hour, my radar stays sharp!
