A Spicy Slide

I woke up in the cozy slipper, ready for a home project after that big street trek! I trotted right into the kitchen to check out the wooden spice rack hanging by the pantry door. It looked like a multi-level ladder! I grabbed the bottom dowel, hoisted myself up, and landed boots-first next to a glass bottle of paprika. While balancing on the narrow shelf, my elbow bumped an empty plastic honey bear sitting at the end! It wobbled and tipped right over, so I slid across the polished wood, threw both arms around its round yellow tummy, and caught it just before it tumbled off the ledge. Safe!
