Chair Leg Stand-Off
I charged straight across the kitchen linoleum and slammed both paws into a thick, turned wooden chair leg! Solid oak! I planted my tail flat against the tiles, wedged my shoulder into the rounded groove, and shoved with every ounce of grit. CREAK! The chair budged half an inch, letting out a sharp, groaning rasp against the floor that buzzed right up into my jaw. I let out a ferocious bark, stomped both feet in place, and hugged the sturdy post like a captured mast!
