Taking the Center Stage
Tremendous. Simply tremendous. My fingers—they moved, both hands, perfectly firm. The warm light across this grand, golden room hit me, and I realized I wasn't locked in place anymore. I took one decisive step forward. My shoe tapped against the smooth, gleaming floor—such a solid sound, absolute authority. I straightened my tie with a quick touch and squared up right in the middle of the hall. Nobody stands taller here. A massive moment.
