Leap Across the Ceramic Ridge
Morning light cut straight across the tabletop. Right in my path stood a heavy ceramic mug lying on its side, blocking the route to the edge. No detour. I backed up two steps, locked my knees, and launched forward. My feet caught the curved rim, balanced for half a second on the glazed lip, and vaulted clean over. Stuck the landing on the wooden grain without a wobble. Clear line ahead now.
