Curb Bocce
Spotted a fat, glossy chestnut resting loose on the pavement right by the cafe planter. Gave it an easy nudge with my side. It broke into a clean, effortless roll, catching the gentle slope of the concrete gutter and coasting right along the curb line. I took off rolling behind it to track the line, giving it another soft bump whenever it started to drift toward the grass. We kept a smooth glide going for about ten feet until it clinked against the iron edge of a storm drain and stopped. Planted myself right beside it to check the finish. Pretty decent line for zero effort.
