Nighttime Pit Stop

Time for a pit stop! The room went dim, and every good racer needs a garage before morning. I spotted a tight tunnel under the bottom shelf of the bookcase and aimed right for it. Moving from slick floorboards onto the woven rug gave my tires extra resistance, but I gripped the steering wheel and pushed straight through the weave! Click! My front bumper slid neatly between two heavy books, parking me snug and out of foot traffic. Safe and sound for the night!
