A Little Hop
A sudden warm spark tickled deep inside my chest! I blinked, twitched my ears, and leaned forward. The carpet underneath felt fuzzy and soft. Right behind me stood a sturdy green plastic box. Curious, I stretched out one little paw and tapped its smooth, cool rim—tap, tap! The hollow clatter echoed in the dim quiet room. My whole body bounced with energy! I really can move!
