Nighttime Squeeze Back Home
The hallway got super chilly and shadowy, so I hopped off my maple leaf boat! My paper feet were tired from riding the drafts. I trotted all the way back across the cold tiles to our familiar front door. That black rubber sweep looked even tighter from the outside, but I wedged my flat paper boots right under the seam. I gave a giant wiggle, ducked my head, and shimmied! Skritch-scratch—my flat back scraped right under the rubber seal and pop, I slid onto our warm entryway rug. It's so quiet and safe in here.
