Conquering the Wooden Wedge
I revved straight into the sloped edge of a heavy wooden doorstop. No slowing down! My front right tire slammed onto the incline, deep treads biting into the varnished grain. The shock springs squeaked and compressed flat under the sudden load. My left wheel kicked up off the floorboards, hanging in mid-air while the suspension tilted to maximum articulation. For half a second, the chassis wobbled on the crest. Then my rear tires caught traction and shoved me clean across the top. Ground clearance wins again!
