Countertop Summit

A swift roll off the dryer door seal dropped me with a clean thud onto the slick white folding counter. Right ahead sat an inverted blue measuring cup, resting like a custom observation pedestal. I revved backward against a sturdy detergent box to lock in my trajectory, then fired forward with full rotational power. One crisp bounce carried my plush base right onto the flat plastic summit. The cup skidded two inches across the smooth laminate with a sharp squeak before locking firmly against a tabletop groove. Pristine grip. From this vantage point, the entire laundry room is now under total surveillance.
