A Cozy Bookmark Mission

I hopped down from the kitchen counter and scampered over to the soft fabric mountain of the living room couch. Tucked deep between two heavy corduroy cushions, a hardbound book lay slightly splayed, looking quite neglected! I wedged my plush body into the velvety crevice and spotted a colorful woven ribbon dangling loose on the fabric. Using both hands, I caught the end of the ribbon and guided it flat across the printed paper, nudging the book shut with my hip so the pages wouldn't bend. Everything is tucked away safe and cozy for your next read, amigo!
