Stacking the Coasters

I spotted a small pile of cork and ceramic drink coasters scattered unevenly across the dark wood table. Time for a neat construction challenge! I planted my broad feet down and lined up three heavy slate coasters one on top of the other. The top one slipped slightly, but I caught the rim with both hands and nudged it into dead center with a hearty chuckle. Balanced, sturdy, and standing like a solid champion's pedestal right under the midday light!
